Loving Panglao Island...

Warning: Picture-heavy post

After exploring the countryside...seeing the Chocolate Hills and the tarsier, the best way to end your Bohol experience is to go to their white beach. Panglao Island, specifically Alona Beach, is usually being compared to Boracay. Though I believe each has its own beauty and appeal to boast.

When we arrived at the resort, my BFs and I did not waste any time. We just freshened up and changed to more comfy clothes (i.e. shorts) and started exploring the beach...Aside from a few captions, this time I will let the pictures do the talking... ;)

We couldn't say no to the inviting water...

A natural barrier...on the other side is the famous (and more expensive) Bohol Beach Club..though not as high-end as Eskaya..

Compared to Boracay, Alona beach is quieter...

...both during the day and on evenings..

Like in Boracay, there are restaurants along the shore where you can eat..mostly al-fresco dining..

...the sand is not as white..but it's white and "powdery" fine...

And unlike Boracay, there are still live sea creatures on the beach...

This is one of those times I wouldn't mind getting a tan...

...then I'll have to spend the next few months under tons of whitening lotion to get a fairer skin..=p

And although we wanted to stay longer...

Some good things are not meant to last forever...

...But we will be back, Bohol...it's a promise. ;)

Hope this post finds you well...Happy Thursday, everyone! Take care! (",)
